Adoptable Animals

After you've read How to Adopt, take a gander at our adoptable dogs and cats. Click on an animal's picture to see more photos, view their age/size/breed information, and learn about their personality.

Adoption Locations and Hours

We want to make adoption as easy as possible for members of our community.  Dog and cat adoptions are available every day (except Tuesday) at our main shelter on Sundog Ranch Rd. Our satellite adoption center at PetSmart has cats, and occassionally pocket pets, seven days a week.

Off-site Adoption Events

YHS volunteers are kind enough to bring animals to off-site adoption events. Check out the calendar on the front page of this website or sign up for the YHS newsletter or Like YHS on Facebook to find out about upcoming off-site adoption events.
